3: intuitive counselling therapy treatments
What is Intuitive Counselling Therapy?
This is a new therapy developed as a result of years of practical work, research and the development of intuitive skills.
This therapy uses intuitive skills acquired with the purpose to help others to heal rather
than to entertain or 'fortune telling'.
What does it do?
Intuitive Counselling Therapy enables you to understand and accept who you are without judgement.
As it brings in the light of understanding new perspectives allow you to change in your own
gentle and easy way.
How does it do this?
It finds all the influences that have had an impact on making you the person you are today and relieves the ones that you find unhelpful.
These influences include genetic predispositions towards feelings, attitudes and behaviour; the environment you grew up in; the influence of siginficant adults during your childhood;
the personalities that surround you today; past lives that casued such strong feelings or trauma that is still with you; the guides you have in spirit;
and the events that you have
experienced through your life journey.
Gently linking events and feelings together through therapeutic techniques and discussion we can uncover the eternal soul you are and remove the trauma and unhelpful influences
that prevent you being everything you have the potential to be. Unlike traditional counselling this can be
achieved without needing a detailed discussion of personal drama and traumas. Your privacy is respected if you so desire and we are able to support your healing without knowing
the full details of what happened to you.
Together we can reveal the meaning and purpose of your life and the journey you have experienced to give you a higher perspective, forgiveness and deep inner peace.
What science is it based upon?
1. Research at the Institute of Peak States by Grant McFetridge
He has found that by relieving genetic and biological developmental trauma, people achieve higher states of happiness and contentment.
2. Peter Levine, ‘The Unspoken Voice’
Peter Levine has found in his work that trauma affects the cells of the body. He has studied the treatment of trauma.
3. Paul MacLean, The Triune Brain system.
The R-Complex, Limbic system and neo cortex may work together but more often one or more nerve centres is ignored causing conflict within the body. Paul MacLean studied the affects and workings of each brain centre.
4. The new science of epigenetics shows how human beings develop survival strategies that they pass on through the genes.
5. We also credit Simon Rose of Reference Point Therapy for some of the ideas that have led us in this direction.
6. Training with Vianna Stibal of Theta Healing allowed us to relate psychic skills to the field of therapy.
7. Meta Medicine and pioneers like Richard Flook, Christian Fleche and Patrick Obissier have also influenced this therapy.
