4: reference point therapy treatments
|
There are many relatively new therapies, like NLP, EFT and Theta Healing, which bring about change and personal development at a rate unknown in years gone by. Some people have a need to work slowly and gently through years of counselling, or body oriented therapies, whilst others have studied healing or spiritual development and have an impatience to be rid or their negative thoughts or behaviours. Reference Point Therapy is fast and effective, even working on stubborn issues.
The Institute for the study of Peak states founded by Grant McFetridge has produced evidence that there are key stages in prenatal development that are fundamental to the well-being of every human being. At these key stages, emotional patterns can be established for life! Obviously an egg or sperm does not have brains or the capacity for thought but it does have feelings or consciousness. It can be influenced not only by the parent’s behaviour prior to birth but also by genetic feelings inherited via the DNA.
Simon Rose, an experienced Theta Healer and teacher came across this research and developed a way of releasing the negative feelings from all key stages of development. This does not work on negative behaviour or thoughts but it works to clear the feelings or root tone that ultimately lead to the behaviour, emotion or belief system. Feelings related to trauma are the root causes of mental, emotional or physical illness. When we change from the root, the ripple effect enables amazing healings. Some of these healings have been recorded and are shown on http://www.referencepointtherapy.com/

The system is called Reference Point Therapy because the trauma or experience leads to misleading reference points for example at birth, the first feelings may be overwhelming and this will be the persons reference point or meaning of life. Trauma in the womb may lead the baby to reach to its mother for security. Whatever she is feeling will be the child’s’ reference point for security in many aspects of its life, especially as regards relationships.
The feelings are easily removed by using a peak mental state as the feelings are below the level of subconscious beliefs, which are notoriously hard to shift. This system is therefore a major breakthrough in healing.
Grant McFetridge’s research describes not just one brain but initially six or seven.
Paul MacLean developed the Triune Brain system that describes the R-Complex, sensed in the gut, the Limbic system, felt in the heart and the Primate brain, sensed in the head.
Subconscious feelings and beliefs arise in both the limbic system and in the R-Complex. They govern the central nervous system. The main function of the R-Complex is to keep us safe so when we feel panicky or anxious, it is simply this brain that has been triggered in some way. Social and loving feelings come from the heart brain so if we feel unloved or unaccepted, this may trigger the fear and insecurity of the R-Complex.
Reference Point Therapy helps us to understand and work with our own body in order to heal and release emotional upsets and physical ailments.
Reference Point Therapy finds key points of distress and uses peak states of being to release repeated patterns of emotional feelings or behaviour, thereby facilitating instant
change and sometimes instant physical healing; Events rarely start unpleasant feelings, they simply trigger them. You don’t have to give details of any unpleasant experiences
but you do have to be prepared to feel some unpleasant feelings in order to be rid of them for good. This therapy works excellently over the telephone or skype.
Simon Rose developed ‘Reference Point Therapy’ from cutting edge research like that of Grant McFetridge, Paul MacLean and the new Biology of Bruce Lipton
